1. POINTING
All pointing will be as follows:
RUSHING (RUNNING BACKS/QUARTERBACKS, ETC.)
*1 pt will be awarded for every 10 yards rushed.
*6 pts will be awarded for a rushing touchdown.
*All numbers will be rounded down to the nearest ten
yards (ie rushed for 199 yards = 19 pts not 20 pts).
*-2 pt will be assessed for a fumble with a turnover.
*2 pts will be awarded for a rushing 2 pt conversion.
*Running backs may have combined rushing/receiving
yards.
RECEIVING (WIDE RECEIVERS/TIGHT ENDS)
*1 pt will be awarded for every 10 yards receiving.
*6 pts will be awarded for a receiving touchdown.
*All numbers will be rounded down to the nearest ten
yards (see above).
*-2 pt will be assessed for a fumble with a turnover.
*2 pts will be awarded for a receiving 2 pt conversion.
*Receivers may have combined rushing/receiving
yards.
*If a receiver/tight end happens to play for special
teams on occasion, you do not receive points for him
on special teams unless you have that particular team
defense.
PASSING/QUARTERBACKS
*1 pt will be awarded for every 20 yards passing.
*4 pts will be awarded for a passing touchdown by a
quarterback.
*6 pts will be awarded for a rushing touchdown by a
quarterback.
*All numbers will be rounded down to the nearest
twenty yards (ie passed for 299 yds = 14 pts not 15 pts).
*Quarterbacks may have combined passing/rushing
yards, however they will receive the rushing pointing
when they run (1 pt for every 10 yards).
*If a quarterback has negative rushing yards, he will
be penalized - 1 pt for every - 10 yards.
*-2 pts will be assessed for any interception or fumble
with a turnover.
*2 pts will be awarded for a rushing/passing 2 pt
conversion.
*Passing points apply to receivers or running backs,
etc. who may complete a pass in a given game.
KICKERS
*0-19 yards = 1 pt
*20-29 yards = 2 pts
*30-39 yards = 3 pts
*40-49 yards = 4 pts
*50 or > yards = 8 pts
*extra pts = 1 pt
*missed field goals = - 1 pt
*missed extra points = - 3 pts
TEAM DEFENSES
*For a safety 2 pts will be awarded.
*For a turnover of anykind 2 pts will be awarded.
*For a turnover with a touchdown 6 pts will be
awarded.
*A sack shall yield 1 pt per occurrence.
*A kick return for a touchdown shall receive 8 pts.
*A shut out shall yield 15 pts.
*A blocked punt or kick shall equal 4 pts.
*If there should ever be two or more ways to point
on a defense, the higher score should be taken (ie if a
blocked punt is run back for a touchdown, 6 pts would
only be awarded for the touchdown, not 10 for the
blocked punt and the touchdown combined).
2. IT'S YOUR JOB TO DOUBLE
CHECK YOUR
SCORES.
You have one week to notify the commish of errors in
pointing. After that, the error stands as is.
3. ALL LINE-UPS MUST BE
IN 24 HRS IN
ADVANCE
OF THE FIRST GAME OF THE
WEEK.
NO EXCEPTIONS.
*Take
note that some games start on Thursdays.
*If you do not submit a line-up in time, the line-up
from your previous week will be used. No exceptions.
*All line-ups must be submitted via email to
[email protected]
*Emails will have a time stamp on them from when you
send them and when the commish receives them.
That is what will be used to determine tardiness.
*Phone call lineups will be accepted on an emergency
basis. Don't make a habit of it...I have caller ID. Voice
messages or messages on answering machines are
invalid. Always use 309-453-6646 if you must use it.
4. TRADING/FREE AGENCY
*Trading is allowed anytime after the draft up until the
end of the 14th week.
*Managers will have 3 free trades included with their
entry fee, all other transactions after that point will be
$1.00 per trade
*All trading/free agency will be on a first come, first
serve basis. You must submit your trade to the
commish and he will grant it and email everyone to let
them know you have traded a player(s). If two or more
people are trying to pick up the same player first serve
basis will be determined by the time/date stamp on the
email. No phone or verbal trades/free agents will be
accepted.
*In order for the commish to have a trade/free agent he
will send an email to everyone with his request and
trade.
5. FEES and PRIZES
*$40.00 will be the fee for the year....it includes three
free trades. Money will be due at draft day.
*All other trades past the three free ones will be $1.00
*Each week the 5 players who place last will contribute
another $1.00 to the pot. The players who place in the
top 5 do not have to pay.
*We will pay out 65% to the first place winner
*We will pay out 25% to the second place winner
*We will pay out 10% to highest point getter
*Anyone below third place can suck a dick.
6. OTHER
I'm sure that other issues will come up, and we'll sort
them out in a democratic fashion.
*I'll try to have the web page updated as fast as
possible following the monday night game.
7. DRINKING
All players must spend at least 3 sundays with the
commish getting loaded watching football somewhere.
