Moroccan Veils

We were driving through Berber country around 1974. On a desolate mountain road we came across this group of women in front of their dwelling. I slammed on the brakes of our rented car. Removing veils in front of strangers was taboo, of course, but a couple of these gals were really mischievous and that, combined with my irresistible charm, made for laughter all around, the language barrier notwithstanding. I've still not learned to speak Arabic.
