Notes
I hope to post at least two
chapters a week. Unfortunately
I'm working on other projects but will reach this goal.
This story
is a "Dragon Ball" "Star Wars" Crossover. It
explores the
relationships between Ki/Chi and the force, also a lot of
action "later on".
Dedication
I'm dedicating this story to
Akira Toriyama and George Lucas
(for the wonderful worlds they created) also fanfiction authors
like
Nora Jemson, B. J henry Jon Souza and all other great Fan-fic
authors
who inspired me to post my own work. Finally I'd like to
thank my Beta
readers especially Jazz, StarFire, Jeniffer, and Natelie who made
this
possible:)
Chapter Six
"Father and Daughter Moment"
Yamucha hated being late,
especially to parties. He would have flown had it not been for
his date's fear of heights. "Damn, Bulma will be upset . .
."
Bulma, his first crush. Damn that
Vegeta!!!!!! Things would have gone well for them both if it had
not been for that stubborn upstart of a prince. He would have
gladly fought for Bulma if it was a fair fight. Vegeta's strength
was and is so far beyond him that he would only last seconds
in a battle.
"Yamucha, dear, the nice man
says it's been fixed!!!!!! Were you thinking of me, you naughty
boy?!!!" smiled Nargil as she gave Yamucha a hug.
"Uhh, yeah, I was!"
"You know I was really
worried about going to this party, with the hostess being your
ex-girlfriend . . ."
"Don't worry, sweety; that
was a long time ago. I'm over her," he said, adding
privately, "I wish . . ."
Their car pulled in as the
mechanic came out. "Here you go, sir; sorry for the delay.
It took us a while to find the right parts."
"It's OK; thank you for
fixing it."
"You're welcome, sir, and
thank you for the generous tip," said the mechanic.
"Yamucha, my hero!!!"
replied the girl, then she gave him a wet one.
"Lucky slob--what I wouldn't
give to have her. . . . Wow, what a body." The mechanic
walked away as the couple drove off.
***
"Mom--I mean Bulma!"
"It's OK, sweety; you can
call me Mom if you want," said Bulma with a smile.
"It's so nice to see you
smiling again. The war was terrible," Panty murmured as she
started to cry.
"Don't cry, sweety,"
Bulma whispered as she held her pseudo-daughter, "it'll work
out for the best." The two held each other as Panty's sobs
slowly diminished.
***
"Damned kids, answer the
door!!!!!!" Remembering that he had sent the help out on
chores and the kids to fetch some of the no-shows, he opened
the door. "You're late."
"Ahhhhhhh . . . sorry, we had
a flat tire. Ahhh, meet my fiancee Nargil."
Nargil smiled sweetly. "Nice
to meet you."
"Same here. Bulma is on the
terrace, Yamucha. Go say hi, then meet me in the dining room.
Miss Nargil, welcome to the family!" In other words,
"Ditch the broad, we need to talk."
Yamucha understood this, yet was a
little surprised at Vegeta's attitude, thinking, "My guess
as to who has a doomed New Year's resolution planned . . ."
"Hon, why don't I take you to
meet Bulma, OK? Vegeta and I need to chat."
"OK, sweety!" she
replied, thinking to herself, "Now to see what the ex is
like!" Yamucha lead her onto the terrace where he saw
Bulma holding a young girl in her arms.
"Bulma!! Guess who!!!"
***
Bulma looked up and saw Yamucha
grinning foolishly at her. "Sorry we're late." Panty
was shocked as she heard a familiar voice. She turned around.
"Not too late . . ."
"Daaaadyyyy!!!!" the
girl ran towards the shocked Yamucha, nearly tripping him while
giving him a huge bear hug. "Daddy, I missed you. I couldn't
bear seeing you die, Daddy!!!"
Nargil looked shocked.
"Daddy?!! Yamucha, is there something you're not telling
me??"
"Honestly, I don't know this
girl. . . . Young girl, please get off me!" Bulma held Panty
and slowly pried her off Yamucha.
"Sorry about this." She
thought to herself, "This must be hard on her . . ."
"Panty, dear, why don't you
go to your room and take a shower?"
"OK, Mom," the girl
replied, used to taking orders.
Nargil was hysterical.
"Mom?!! Yamucha?!! Why you bastard!!!!" she screamed as
she hit him on the head.
"Bulma, please explain . . .
ouch, that hurt!"
Bulma said calmly, "Nargil,
why don't I tell you what happened while Yamucha goes to meet
with my husband?" Yamucha made a tactical withdrawal, hoping
Nargil would see that this was a misunderstanding.
***
"You met her, didn't
you?"
"Yeah. She looks so much like
Bulma . . ."
"She shook me up too, at
first," admitted Vegeta.
"What's this charade you're
playing?? You never give a damn about people. What is it with
this attitude change??"
"So paranoid . . . then
again, I deserve it. We have a long task ahead of us."
The door burst open as the gang started to pop in.
After ten minutes of
"hello's" and "long time no see's," Vegeta
called the meeting to order.
"How come he's ordering us
around, Goku??" inquired Kurririn.
"Because, you wimp, I'll beat
the . . . ahh, sorry. Old habits die hard. Come on, let's stop
the nonsense and get this meeting started."
