7th July 83 : 58002 on display at Stratford depot.
58002 at Startford

Brand-new and on display at a depot open day prior to entering service. 58002 was stil officially on test at the time of this photo.
27th October 83 : 58006 poses at Doncaster, prior to acceptance by BR.

On a week when the early examples were being tested, 58006 is posed by the entrance of Doncaster works awaiting attention to a minor problem.
27th October 83 : 58007 works it's first ever train.

Ex-works 58007 is seen working it's first ever train - a loaded MGR. At this time the locomotive was still regarded as being "on trial". Records show this locomotive was not accepted into traffic until November 1983.
29th December 90 : 58013 in Saltley depot.
58013 at Saltley

One of the last around in original colours, 58013 is captured between duties at Saltley.
29th July 95 : 58036 showing of it's Mainline freight colours.
58036 at Didcot

A livery which is now history! Along with Load Haul and Transrail, Mainline freight colours became obsolete when all came under the ownership of EWS.
