8th June 97 : Ex-works 89001 at Kings Cross.
A locomotive with a strange history! The "flying badger" was a prototype locomotive that spent some time "preserved" before GNER
brought it back on to their books for using on London to Leeds services. Originally in InterCity livery, it is seen here shortly
after repainting into GNER's somewhat un-exiting blue colour scheme.
21st February 98 : 89001 at Peterborough.
On the day I finally got 89001 for haulage, it is seen here at Peterborough after my journey from London.
