Streetcars & a Monorail

29th October 98 : Kamakura Station.
Streetcar 1101 at Kamakura
A private "streetcar line" operates between the country towns of Kamakura and Fujisawa. Although mostly on a dedicated route, in Enoshima the line runs sown the centre of the main street. One unit is seen here arriving at Kamakura on of the terminus stations.
29th October 98 : Fujisawa Station.
Streetcar 2003 at Fujisawa
The line from Kamakura to Fujisawa runs with a mix of old and new units. One of the new ones is seen here at Fujisawa.
29th October 98 : Enoshima Station.
Streetcar 304 at Enoshima
Main intermediate station on the Kamakura to Fujisawa line is Enoshima. An older streetcar is seen here.
29th October 98 : Ofuna Station.
Monorail car 561 at Ofuna terminus
The most unusual line I came upon was the Shõnan Monorail which ran between Enoshima and Õfuna (about half an hours journey). One unit is seen here at Õfuna.
