We went for a walk in the park, it was a perfect day for it. Just you and I, as we strolled around, watching the ducks. Sat and ate lunch, in the forgiving sunshine, saying nothing.

Then later, we walked up the path, and found a spot. We sat there for hours, enjoying the others company. Talking of past times and different occasions, laughing at our own misfortunes. Both wished it would never end, and that we could stay in this Eden forever.

But sadly, we knew this was not to be. We walked home, stopping at the doorstep, we hugged, knowing it was our last. To quote a master, it was 'such a perfect day, i'm glad I spent it with you.'

And now we are setting up our own lives, but sometimes I catch myself thinking of you, and can't help but wonder if you do to.
