Fog of War
fog envelopes the dreams of centuries past;
sand flows through veins forcing feelings;
spirits of wasted lives gasp;
weary eyes of kings seeking;
answers, unbecoming, evident
only in the minds of the unbent.
reach out for refuge in this land of holiness,
evokes madness that i beseech;
to look for that infinite kindness,
that only a goddess can teach;
seeking for the dreams
brought on by satanic means.
in the evasive land of the uncertain,
tears wash away souls of lovers,
and down falls the iron curtain;
its length does eternity cover,
its scold does the heart falter
and cry for sacrifice on alter.
what could be, has been soiled,
by the uncertainty and fear;
afflicted by blood boiled,
by that of pasts near;
by that of wars raged in night,
like that, in this you flight.
