If you have the taste for the spotlight and passion for performance, the Theatre College "Luben Groyce" in Sofia can help you become a multi-talented, disciplined, and versatile performer. You will become skilled in a wide range of theatrical styles, dramatic and musical , as well as proficient in stage, film, television, and radio work.

Highly regarded by the theatrical profession, our College includes some of the finest in the field. Our professional Theatre College is directed by Elena Baeva. Prof. Baeva maintains a close working relationship with theatrical profession. The movement portion of the curriculum, designed by internationally recognised fitness experts and specialists in the field of movement, is unique.

Three years of classroom and studio instruction, individual coaching, and production experience will equip you with confidence, professionalism, and strong performance skills. The program combines work on the text, role development, professional attitude, and mental, vocal, and physical processes required to release creative potential.

Your first year will be devoted to the discovery of the working process and basic techniques. In the second year, you will begin the gradual transition to novice performer, developing your technical, imaginative, and role-development skills through the exploration of performance styles. The final year studies are directed toward public performances in dramatic, musical and film genres. You will join senior technical and production students in productions directed by visiting artists. The studies include also a thesis, creative performance project and performance of various plays with scripts ranging from classical to contemporary material.

Along with the professionally guided performance opportunities provided by the College, you will be encouraged to be a performance entrepreneur, generating your own plays and material. You may find work opportunities with producers of theatre, film and television.
