The Questions

• Do you feel our city government manages in an unfair manner to the point of possibly being illegal and inviting lawsuits?
• Do you feel an 83% margin against a Community Redevelopment Agency should send our city employees a clear message, the people don't want large-scale redevelopment?
• Do you feel our government should pursue a more responsible beautification plan, rather than the expensive redevelopment they envision?
• Do you feel we should establish a committee to attract new business to our city and fill our many vacant storefronts and buildings?
• Do you feel population density should be restricted to avert overcrowding?
• Do you feel our government should run our Community/Senior Center rather than subsidizing a private organization with a questionable financial background?
• Do you feel it is unforgivable for the Mayor to berate or swear at elected officials over political differences during Commission Meetings?
• Do you feel the new Mayor should not be influenced by political interests, but lead with vision for the future, guided by the wisdom and wishes of the people?

The Answers

I agree with Janice Scott and the CAC on many issues, she is a better choice than our current Mayor. I do not believe she has the tenacity to fight for the needed changes in the way our government is run. If you receive this flyer I have been in your neighborhood and hope to have spoken with you. I invite you to take a stand for Public Service, not Politics in November. True progress can only be made with the voters' direction, which is the foundation of Good Government.
