the rotten orange turned really small and hard

just like the old man told me

i put it in the jar to wait

just like the old man said

i saw on tv that the sun had exploded last night

just like the old man warned

on the news they said everyone was dead

i took the orange out of the jar and it made a new sun

that's why there is a sun even though it exploded last night

the old man was right. i'm glad i listined to him
