TELECOURSE OFFERINGS
COLLEGE CREDIT
FOR
TELEVISION INSTRUCTION

What is a Telecourse?

A telecourse is a videotaped course that is televised for adult learners. As a complete learning system designed for home use, the telecourse contains the same basic content as the on-campus course. Moreover, the televised lessons often allow demonstrations unavailable in a traditional classroom setting. In addition to the televised lessons, the telecourse includes a required on-campus orientation, textbooks, student-teacher communications, and access to Union Technical Education Center's support services.

How does it work?

1. You MUST ATTEND AN ORIENTATION SESSION, Aug. 27, 5:30 P.M., UTEC 105.

2. You MUST take TWO evening examinations.

3. View weekly television broadcasts.

4. Attend two classes - each held a week before exams.

5. Prepare and submit written assignments.
