Tatiana
finds herself locked in a large room. Frantically she tries to get out
but her attempts are in vain. She calls out to you, then to Michael. Then
suddenly she falls to the ground, her light growing fainter and fainter.
Tears begin to run down her face as she realizes what is taking place.
A voice begins to speak in her ear,
"Poor, dear child," the voice coos, "you don't deserve this fate.
All you've ever done for him is look out for him and protect him. That's
all. And what happens because of your faithful service? He denies your
existence. Remember, Tatiana. *Everytime someone says I don't believe,
there's a fairy that falls down dead somewhere.* All you have to do, my
dear, is leave him here. I'll take you to where children will believe in
you and and * on who's shore's children are forever at play*. Just leave
him and never look back. Trust me."
"No," she says in a hoarse whisper. "It's not possible."
Her light grows dimmer and dimmer until it is barely a flickering
light.
If you don't know what happened to Michael, go back to #21.
If you do, got to #23
