It's evening now and my solarium is dark, so we can travel through it to the garden outside. As you pass by the shelves next to the glass walls, you'll see young rose bushes and other beautiful plants. I'm very grateful to Renaldo for looking after my babies during the day when I cannot. Just before we step out through the glass doors you'll notice a large deep red rose bush on your right. That's Gwyneth, named for my dearly departed sister. Her flowers supply the wonderful bouquets throughout the house. As she was ever fruitful in life, she shall forever live on since her death.
Outside we step into a small flower park with a large central fountain and benches for you to sit at. To the right through the rose hedge we come upon the box hedges rimming the pool. And then as we travel passed the pool area we come upon my scarlet rose hedge, my doorway to the maze. A rose tunnel of sorts. My Gwendolyn Maze, named after my mother, is bordered by scarlet, fuschia, and yellow roses. The maze itself is made of a deep crimson rose hedge, and in the center there is another bench. One of my favorite places, secluded to give me a place to be by myself or, to spend a romantic interlude with a companion.

And now, if you'll follow me back to the house, we'll enter through the music room. One of my favorite places in the house, also used as my office and den, it affords a beautiful view of the garden. Across the hall is the library, and to your direct left when you leave the music room is the tower with its spiral staircase leading to the upstairs. Speaking of the upstairs, there are three bedrooms at your disposal if you care to stay the night.
