Old Myths, New Beliefs
By Chaos
Dragons, Dragons all around,
And not a single flame
They ride no longer in the clouds,
Who is there to blame?
I searched out to the east,
I searched out to the west,
The only thing found up high,
Was a cloud at best.
Dragons, Dragons all around,
And not a single flame
They ride no longer in the clouds,
Who is there to blame?
I searched across the empty world,
Spanning the entire width,
The only reply I had heard,
was that they were a myth.
Dragons, Dragons all around,
And not a single flame
They ride no longer in the clouds,
Who is there to blame?
The Grand Departure
By Chaos
If Man had wings, they'd be used for war,
Razing, killing, and nothing more,
But dragons had wings that they did adore,
In the skies they would always soar
They looked at the humans and were amused,
Their minds were small, and easily abused
"Technology" had eventually sealed their fate,
Causing grief, sorrow, misery, and hate
The dragons did not like this and finally spoke,
"A single spell we shall now invoke"
Then, a bright light had appeared and shined,
They will return, the last day of our lives
The humans had thought that they finally won,
The Armageddon suns had combined into one
Little did they know the dragons had their way,
Now they are punished day after day
DragonFlight
By Shauna Meyer
The greatest way to see the world would be
Astride a dragon flying fast and high.
Just take a moment - picture it with me,
And think about how it would be to fly.
His wings beat through the air with powr and might,
We dip and turn and swirl up in the sky,
The thrill of soaring fills me with delight,
I wish this feeling didnt ever die.
My dragon friend is powerful and strong,
His wine-red hide shines golden in the sun,
And when we fly together I belong
To him, and him to me, and we are one.
The world is such a grand and wondrous thing,
When carried through the clouds by dragon wings.
