            appearance by Paul Chaplin as AGENT ACTION!

SUMMARY:
"Agent Action", according to the author, is the next big 
thing in movies - not only does it have more action than 
Arnold & Sly's movies put together, not only will is it
destined to win piles of awards, not only will it revolutionize
how we think of movies forever, BUT - it has clones AND 
naked, big-breasted women!

HOST SEGMENTS:
OPENING - Tom forces Mike, Crow, & Gypsy to appear in a 
          salute (drum roll, cymbal) to the summer films of 1997, all 
          so he get a cheesy close-up. Meanwhile, a molten tar pit
          has formed in Deep 13.
MIDDLE - Mike & the bots try to arrange every single political
         party into a non-biased debate format. The results are 
         unencouraging.
ENDING - Crow downloads a bit of the finished AGENT ACTION
         product from the web. The results are unencouraging. Deep 13
         is saved from extinction by Tommy Lee Jones (Kevin).
STINGER - "Wake up you morons."

REFLECTIONS:
"Agent Action" was probably the easiest MiSTing I've ever
written.  In fact, it practically wrote itself.

About a week after I posted it, I got an e-mail from a woman
who actually met the guy who did the spamming (she didn't 
give his name, and Im not sure it would be appropriate to
trumpet it around if she had).  He claimed his movie was 
the "most talked-about on the internet", and he seemed very
proud that he had had his assistant spam the internet to 
raise awareness of it.  He also hit on her.

Reality, ladies and gentlemen, is often a scary thing.
