TITLE: Brothers of Shotokan, Chapters 9-12, by "Zerolow"

CHARACTERS: Mike, Dr. Forrester, Pearl Forrester

SUMMARY:
In this almost brilliantly-executed chunk out of the middle
of a Street Fighter fanfic, a bunch of men all named "Gou"-
something train, fight, train some more, get turned to the
dark side, and may not get turned to the dark side after
all.

SHORTS: "Stop The Sad Nostalgists", an editorial from Next Generation
        Magazine.

HOST SEGMENTS:
  OPENER: Crow agrees to try out Dr. Forrester's new fighting
          videogame, in which even walking forward is a special move.

  SEGMENT ONE: A Python-style debate on old vs. new games.

  SEGMENT TWO: I'm sure I planned one here, honest.

  CLOSING: The SOL crew plays a little live-action Street
           Fighter, while the advent of 3D fighting games destroys
           Forrester's chance at global domination.

REFLECTIONS:
This took FOREVER to write. I took months just getting
back to it. I wrote "GIST Spams" -while- writing this. And
it shows. It shows in the missing second host segment. It
shows in the way the riffs revolve around my various
cable obsessions. And it shows in the fact that between
the time I wrote the opening and the time I wrote the 
closing, 3D fighting games had attained their current
status.
