MISTIERS: Jim Whaley TITLE: "Off-Road Brawl" by ANONYMOUS CHARACTERS: Mike, Servo and Crow SUMMARY: Oh, God. What did I get myself into? This is by far the hardest-to-read peice of *^&# that I ever read. Posted by a person who wished to remain anonymous, this was actualy supposed to be a comic book, but he posted the text version instead. I waded through endless senseless garbage like "P3(2/56)-" which I think stands for "next page". However, I was able to blank out those little technobable abreviations and just read the story. It's about a person named Nick T. Slick(just Slick) and his girlfriend Fiona as they chase sumo wrestlers in the desert. The guy's name is Sumdumguy, and he holds a bomb which Slick says "is the most dangerous bomb ever". It turns out to be a roach bomb in the worst plot contrivance I've ever seen, and nobody gets hurt, unfortunately. HOST SEGMENTS: Prologue: Mike has put all the 'Bots personalities into another 'Bot. It gets real confusing. Segment One: While Mike tries unsucessfuly to return all the correct personalities, Pearl calls. Her plan this week is to watch "Pinky and the Brain" and find out what they do wrong so she can think of some other way of taking over the world. When Mike informs her that the only reason Brain doesn't suceed is because of his stupid partner, Pearl tells Bobo to jump off a cliff. He does. Segment two: Crow and Servo blow up a bomb, killing millions of nanites. Pearl watches Invasion America and wonders if she should just broadcast WB to the Satelite. Stinger: Fiona in her most sensitive role. Heavens! REFLECTIONS: Since I took the origonal Castle Forrester segments from this MiSTing and put them in "The Cartoons Combined", I had to be inventive. My little WB idea has been by far the zaniest and wacked-out idea ever so far in this series. I don't blame the author at all for not mentioning his name in this story. It just shames me that he even posted it in the first place. -JAW CHRONOLOGICAL NOTES: After my "Cartoons Combined" MiSTing RECOMMENDED READING: [none]
