Lanhydrock and Castle Drogo
Two very different buildings are Lanhydrock and Castle Drogo although both are reached via narrow country roads. Lanhydrock is further west. As one first approaches it in foot, one only gets a hint of its beauty. Then one gets closer and see how big it really is. A frontal view begins to show how extensive it is. Its courtyard is very nice. So, too, are its gardens and its chapel. Its altar was attractive.
In contrast, Castle Drogo is not very attractive, inside or out. Still, the edifice was worth seeing.
