Ubud was great fun! It's more centrally located on the island and a good base to explore from as many tours can be done in a day from here. We just seemed to shop though, eat and eat and eat and drink and drink and drink and swim in the pool! Hey, that's what holidays are for right?

Our accommodation was super good though. The room was just straight out of a designer magazine with drapes over the bed, nice balcony to relax on, bamboo furniture, black ebony floors etc... and all for $23 a night or so. What a deal.

If you want to buy quality furniture and crafts... this is the place. No pine or MDF board here... just teak, mahogany, ebony etc. Yep... the Balinese woman statue below now belongs to us and will be there to welcome you into our home in the USA.
