ExxonMobil Pressured to Protect Gays
ExxonMobil shareholders and human rights advocates are asking the oil company to adopt a policy barring discrimination based on sexual orientation. Mobil had such a policy -- and offered domestic partner benefits to its gay and lesbian employees -- until 1999, when both practices were dropped upon the company's merger with Exxon.
