this particualr issue isn't one that affects me
personally(as in i don't cut myself), but it affects somebody extrememly
close to me who is a major part of my life. even though certin circumstances
have arose that rescrtict us from being together at this time, self-injury
is still a major, major issue in my life and affects me everyday.

again, another issue that doesn't affect me directly, but somewhat indirectly. my exgirlfriend's mother was diagnosed not to long ago with breast cancer and since then it's made me much more aware of the disease and diseases in general. it's also rekindled some spirtual aspects of my life that were all but gone, thus it's an important issue in my life.
