"Maggie"
This is my kitten, Maggie. She is/was about 5 months old when these pictures were taken. Some of them aren't particularly good quality. Maggie a black long short-hair, with a white patch on her chest. When she first saw her new home, she sniffed everything very cautiously. Then came the big problem - our other cat, Susi (16 years old at the time). When Susi first saw Maggie, she went to attack. She was hissing and spitting and growling. We had to keep them apart. After a while, Susi stopped going for Maggie, and just ignored her by turing her head away whenever Maggie appeared. If Maggie touched Susi, Susi would still hit her, but wouldn't stand up to do so. This problem solved itself (surprising) after 2 weeks in the cattery, in separate but adjacent "cells". Susi no longer ignores Maggie to the extent she did before, and will even lie next to her with no problems. The only thing Susi objects to (and quite understandably so), is when Maggie jumps or tries to "play fight" with her.
Maggie has this obsession with cleaning herself. I mean, I'll rather have a clean cat than a dirty one, but does it have to be every 5 mins? And now it isn't just herself, but Susi also. Maggie, about 6 months old, cleans Susi, about 16 years 8 months. Why? Susi isn't that old that she can't take care of herself.
Maggie likes to find a table with lots of pens and other "light" objects. She starts by sniffing, and then plays with them. Then, ever so subtlely, one falls on the ground. And another, and another. She then waits for someone to pick them up, and then starts the cycle again!
Here's another type of Maggie. This one's a Simpson. She's so sweet!
