Our primary purpose is to provide a safe place to meet other like-minded adults and an opportunity to witness and/or participate in BDSM scenes.

Our second purpose is to provide a positive, supportive and nurturing atmosphere by promoting self-acceptance, self-esteem, pride, dignity and honesty!

Our third purpose is to provide people interested in the Leather/BDSM/Fetish community a safe and discrete way to network with others of the same interests.

If there is one concept the Missouri Bed and Dungeon springs from it is this:

Exploring BDSM within a supportive group frees us from guilt, shame and the shackles of conventional sexuality. We each share the responsibility to support the group by attending the Missouri Bed and Dungeon and prompting our friends to participate. We each should accept the other's tastes, experience levels and personal differences to make it work.

We are free to play anyway we choose, without judgment or interference from other guests. We envision another guest's adherence to negotiate and consensual play not in relation to our own particular tastes, but within the framework of the broad and inclusive blanket that encompasses all of the BDSM and the M/s relationship and community. In broadening our horizons we often broaden our play as well.

We are each free, as registered guest, to sponsor anyone we choose to invite to the group. Together as a group, we accept, on faith, which the sponsoring visitor is conscientious in their choice and they will orientated the new guest in our traditions. We have not seen this fail yet.

Many people will ask me what a "typical party" is like. Since every party is different according to the make-up of attendances, it is impossible to describe a "typical party." Some nights we are flooded with newbies who only want to watch and not much happens. Other nights, experienced players attend and play until the crack of dawn. Before deciding whether the Missouri Bed and Dungeon is for you, we invite you to attend at least three (3) classes and five (5) play parties'. Only by attending three (3) classes and five (5) parties will you be able to savor the full flavor of what the Missouri Bed and Dungeon has to offer.
