Was this really happening? Was I really in Sweden? and with the woman I have grown to love so much?!! OH, it was all true!!!!! We stood outside the airport entrance looking for the car. Stina stood with a puzzled look on her face as she looked once to the right and once to the left. Then Stina exclaimed, "Oh no! Where did I park the car!" We walked into the parking lot, arm and arm, as Stina continued to search for the car. First, we walked to the right...NO CAR! then to the left...still no car....I could tell Stina was getting nervous and then she finally found it parked towards the back. So much nervousness and tension, and I think our minds were in the clouds somewhere! She put my bags into the back and we got into the car. Inside the car we caressed and kissed more and just enjoying each others presence.
We had spoken on icq before and Stina had planned for us to stay in a wonderful hotel in town. We drove approximately 45 minutes to the hotel and Stina helped me carry my bags inside. She checked us in and we headed right up to our room! It was a wonderful room!!!!! Next to the sofa was beautiful red roses and a bottle of champagne, which was chilling on ice. Stina is such a romantic and everything seemed so perfect! We stood in the doorway, hugging and kissing...slowly moving over to the couch. We sat down and Stina pulled out the bottle of champagne, and, like an expert, removed the cork and poured us a glass and then she almost tipped over the table! Oh my god, we were both so nervous! We slowly sipped champage and learned more about each other *wink*. We were totally into each other and then realized it was almost 9 pm and haven't had dinner yet! The restaurants would be closing soon so we had to leave quickly. It was so hard, but we finally got out of the room and headed out to the restaurant. It was so beautiful inside but totally empty! We had the whole place to ourselves! We were led to a wonderful table and Stina was so impressive...totally in control and handled herself so eloquently. Since the menu was all in Swedish, she helped me order my meal as we sipped on some very fine wine. While we were waiting for our dinner, Stina went to the ladies room. I watched her walk back to the table, admiring her walk, the steadiness and self assurance just glowed all around her....BUT there was such a strange look on her face...she looked like someone just told her that her cat died or something!!!!!
As she sat down...her wonderful smile was now a frown, and looked at me with such sad eyes and whispered to me, "OH NO Carol...I have started my period!!!!!!." SHIT!!! she said it wasn't suppose to start for another week!!!! Now we both sat at the table looking our cats died!!!!!! After a few minutes we both realized there wasn't much we could do about it, and enjoyed our dinner.
Of course it was a little disappointing but I was still so happy to be with Stina. After dinner we took a short walk and Stina showed me the town square. It was still so hard to believe that I was actually in Sweden! The buildings so full of character, the streets so clean, the people so friendly....so unlike the STATES!
We headed back to our room, Stina was still a little down and disappointed but I think we made up for that within the first few minutes back in the room! hehehehe
We had talked about this day so many times and tried to imagine everything and anything that could happen. Both of us are basically shy women and thought we would both just sit there and look at each other...waiting for the other to make the first move. I am not one to kiss and tell, but I can tell you this...it was the most passionate and most wonderful night of my life!
