The Fortress
in Varberg
Varberg is one of Sweden's most popular coastal resorts. The nudist
beaches are well known as are the many health treatments available at the
health resort. The
fortress, originally built on a cliff very close to the seashore, is a
monument built during the Danish sovereignty.
The most
famous object of interest within the museum is "Bockstens
mannen" a 14th century man found 60 years ago in a marsh dressed
in the worlds only perfectly preserved medieval attire. Here you will also
find the bullet that according to the legend killed the Swedish king
Charles XII. |

Oslo
|
Karl Johan
Street
The main stage in Oslo is Karl Johan Street, the wide main street that
runs from the Parliament to the Palace. Here are singing fountains, parks,
street musicians, and businessmen making deals on the benches, surrounded
by hopeful pigeons. Oslo has developed into a modern city and has a
thriving night life. You can sample cuisines from all over the world.
