Journals of a Gay Vegan: Miscellaneous
What's New
September 26, 1999
I finally wrote the introspection essay "Belief In
God" attempting to explain why I believe in God and why I consider
myself an agnostic theist. I then updated the
personal goals page. Then I added some
info to the quick stats page. I also
answered some new questions on the FAQ page. I
also added a few lines to the cute guys page so
you could see the men of my desktop wallpaper and the men of my current
screen saver. Then I wrote a journal called "Label
Yourself Gay" about the labels found withing the gay community.

I moved the site over to geocities. For starters, Geocities gives pop
email access so I can check my email using Outlook Express rather than
having to use go to the email.com web site. Secondly they give named
directories rather than neighborhoods/numbers. So, for now, switch
your bookmarks to http://www.geocities.com/gay_vegan/.
Also, with geocities, you either have to have a ad banner on every
page or you get a pop up ad. For now I'm letting the pop-up ad stay.
But if you just minimize the ad instead of closing it, it won't keep
popping up. I'll keep the fortunecity up for a while though. Maybe
with my next AllAdvantage
check I'll be able to guy a domain or something.
But new this week I finally have the introspection essay "Being Gay." As part of that
essay I wrote a journal called "Growing Up Gay" which tells my story of growing up
with same-gender attractions.

I don't believe I added anything of substance this week. The daily journal is updated as always, but that's it this week. Next week, after my room is cleaned and my sisters room is cleaned I'll be able to write again. BTW, this weeks update is a day late because fortunecity's ftp site was down Sunday night.

This week I added a frequently asked questions
page and I wrote a poem called Not Surprised. I also updated the reading list and movie list.
