Club "Reggina Boys" Sydney began to take form in early 2000 though the founding members can trace their followship to the Amaranto from many years back. President Calesse has been a Reggina supporter since 1979 and President Gattuso has been since 1994. President Calesse migrated to Sydney in early 2000 and it was in this time that the first meeting between Calesse and Gattuso would lay the foundations for the the commencement of a Reggina Fans Club in Sydney. During 2000 many meetings took place and in January 2000 the final proceedings to the initiation of the Club occured. Vice-President Fraietta attributes his allegiance to Reggina during 1999 whilst studying in Bologna, Italy. It was fate that led to Fraietta being at the "Stadio 'Dall'Ara' " with the Reggina supporters when Davide Possanzini scored the goal to secure Reggina's first victory in the Serie A Championship. And thus, an all important triumvirate was formed. Together Calesse, Gattuso and Fraietta have combined to commence the first Reggina Fans Club in Australia.
