Attention Deficit Disorder
Explanation Attention Deficit Disorder, is a disorder characterized by short attention span. This means that people with this disorder are easily distracted, and have difficulty paying attention. This disorders cause is unknown, but may be due to parental toxic exposure, or prematurity. People who have this disorder often have families with a history of school problems, behavioral disorders, or other psychosocial problems. |

Statistics 3-10 times more likley to occur in males than females. This disorder occurs worldwide in 1.5% to 10% in children. |
Treatment There are a number of medications available to people properly diagnosed with this disorder. |
