Graham Asks For More Time?
George Graham has pleaded with Spurs fans to give him more time to bring the glory days back to White Hart Lane.

Graham points out that his side are in a respectable position this season despite massive injury and suspension problems and a horrendous away record.

He says that the players don't need to fans on their backs for the entire game as happened against Southampton at the weekend and that the supporters need to get behind the team.
Graham, underlines the need for new players to be brought into the club but is quick to point out that he cannot do anything until ENIC take over and sympathises with the fans, but he admits his hand is being forced and the supporters need to show patience:

"What the players need right now is encouragement. They are giving everything in very difficult circumstances and getting booed off.

"That was the case at half time and full-time against Southampton. That can really affect their confidence. All I would ask the fans to do is stay behind them.
"The players are giving everything, doing their best in difficult. With the jeers at the moment they must be asking themselves, 'Are we doing that badly?' It would really help them to know they had the fans behind them."
