Mos Eisley originally came across as a barren, desert outpost rather than the bustling spaceport that George Lucas envisioned.

A new moving aerial shot following the landspeeder through the city includes extensive CG work. The town has now been enlarged through new modeling and computer matte paintings. The result is an environment allowing complete freedom of camera movement with realistic, detailes perspective shifts.

The other-worldliness of the city was brought to life with the addition of numerous creatures moving about the streets. On the horizon, various craft can be seen moving through the skies above the city.
