I'm from Singapore, seventeen this year, and I'm studying in Jurong Junior College. Well, i'm in my first year in JJC, in the Science Faculty....[98s20]. It's very fun to be in JJC 'cause the teachers are great and schoolmates are friendly. So if anyone of you who wants to study in JJC, i assure you that you'll have a great time here.

I like playing soccer, especially street soccer at the basketball court at school. I'm sure some of you guys will know me. I'm in the rugby team ~ rugby's fun and enjoyable ! Besides soccer & rugger, i like to listen to Chinese & Cantonese music especially Sammi Cheng & Jacky Cheung's. I also like to surf the net and design webpages just for fun, but i've been struggling with time especially with tons of homework & the world cup on the other hand. Phew!

Ok, now for friends from overseas who don't have any idea where Singapore is, or those who think S'pore is in outer space....

Singapore is a small independant nation in Asia, just over maybe...650 sq. km, including reclamation. It's located south of Malaysia and is linked to Johor in M'sia, by two causeways. We depend mainly on manufacturing and refining of oil. But, sad to say, the region's economy is in a complete mess and things don't look good for the next couple of years....well, i hope that the situation would improve over the years.

We mainly speak English & Chinese (Mandarin) over here, although there's Malay, Indian, and other languages & Chinese dialects. Laws are not really relaxed over here but there's a considerable degree of freedom and democracy, although only one political party have been in power for several decades.
