Why didn't God save all the troubles and just descend from clouds and shout to the tiny man as loud as thunder "I am God, Obey me".
Hear my story and you'll understand.

One raw winter night, a farmer heard an irregular thumping noise against the kitchen door. He went to the window, and saw tiny shivering sparrows attracted to the evident warmth inside, beating in vain against the glass, wanting to get in.

Touched, the farmer trudged through fresh snow to open the barn door for the struggling birds. He turned on the lights and tossed some hay into a corner. But the sparrows scattered in all directions and hid in the darkness, afraid. The man tried various tactics to get them inside inside the barn, such as laying down a trail of food to direct them, and circling behind the birds to drive them in.

Nothing worked. He, a huge alien creature, had terrified the birds. The birds couldn't comprehend that he actually desired to help. The man withdrewed to his house and watched the doomed sparrows through a window.

A thought hit him: if only I could become a bird, one of them, just for a moment. Then I could show them the way to warmth and safety. Then at the same time he had grasped the reason Jesus was born.

Everyone of us is born sinful, sins may not be serious crimes such as murders, stealing and etc. �They can be unnoticeable offences such as hurting others' feelings, lying and so on.

By ourselves we cannot achieve heaven. �No matter how good we are or what good deeds we do, we cannot get to heaven except by accepting Jesus has died for our sins, and only by submitting everything to Him can we get into heaven.
