Sutton and McKinlay sign new contracts!
Blackburn Rovers and English International Chris Sutton and Scottish International Billy McKinlay have pledged their future to the club.
24 year old Sutton has signed a four year extension to his contract which was due to run out in the summer of 1999.
Sutton said: "I am delighted with the set-up at Rovers, there is great respect for Roy Hodgson and the team are getting good results."
Rovers' chief executive John williams said: "These deals clearly demonstrate the commitment and determination of Jack Walker and the board to ensure Rovers are in a position to challenge for honours now and in the future."

Impressive Performance from the Reserves
Rovers youngsters James Beattie and Damien Druff have performed superbly in the Pontins Premier League to send Rovers top of the league.
The nineteen year old Beattie have bagged in plenty of goals for the reserves, and such a display will give Hodgson something to think about and could force him into putting Beattie into the squad.
Irish Under 21 hotshot Damien Duff have already played in the senior squad, replacing Wilcox and Flitcroft occasionally.

Former Rovers boss dies
Former Blackburn Rovers manager Jack Marshall has died at the age of 80.
After coaching and managing Bury and Rochdale, he joined Ewood Park in 1960
Marshall led Rovers to challenge for the first division championships, but failed and resigned.
He returned to Rovers three years later to become the clubs physio before retiring in 1979.
