Sixteen teams from the ten South American National Associations are the participants. They are the squads escorting the champion and runner-up of each country�s tournament. The winner qualifies as participant for the Gold Cup "Nicolás Leoz".
Participan 16 equipos de las diez Asociaciones Nacionales Sudamericacanas. Son los equipos que escoltan al campeón y subcampeón de cada país. El ganador clasifica para jugar la Copa de Oro "Nicolás Leoz".
