Schools Country Cup
The 1999 Queensland Secondary Schools' Country Cup will be staged in Townsville on 21-22 June. Nominations have been received to date from Rockhampton, North Rockhampton, Blackwater, Ingham and Kirwan High Schools. Ryan Catholic Community School and Wangetti School also have shown interest.
The Country Cup is open to all secondary schools, but is limited to 12 teams - first come first served. Smaller schools may combine (e.g. Mt Morgan and Moura last year). The age group is Under 18. Each team will play four matches of 20-minute halves.
