Glenn Danzig
Vocalist 1983-1987
Born: 6/23/55
Glenn Danzig was Samhain's singer and songwriter, as well as contributing with guitar, bass, keyboard, piano, and drums while recording albums. Glenn graduated from Lodi High School in 1973 and was in several bands before forming The Misfits. He left/broke up the true Misfits in 1983, but immediately formed Samhain with Eerie Von, at the time Misfits photographer. Glenn later changed the band name Samhain to Danzig and have just recently released the bands 6th album, Satans Child 6:66

Eerie Von
Drummer 1983, Bassist 1983-1987
Born: 8/25/64
Eerie grew up in Lodi, NJ and graduated from Lodi High School in 1982 with Steve Zing and Doyle of The Misfits. Before Samhain, Eerie played drums for the Lodi band Rosemary's Babies. He was a roadie and photographer for The Misfits. Eerie was originally in Samhain as the drummer, but later changed to bass replacing Al Pike. Eerie followed Glenn to Danzig, but got fired after recording the 4th album, just before recording of the 5th started Eerie went on to solo and group projects.

Steve Zing
Drummer 1983-1985/1999, Bassist 1999
Born: 6/29/64,
Zing was a drummer for Implosion, Mourning Noise and The Undead before he joined Samhain. He also graduated from Lodi High School in 1982 with Eerie. Steve left the band in July of 1985 and returned to The Undead in 1986. He later formed his current band, Chyna. In 1999, Steve returned to Samhain for the reunion tour, playing the first half of the show on drums, and the second on bass.

Al Pike
Bassist 1983
Born: ???
Al is only featured as Samhain member on the "Archangel." track, previously to Samhain he played bass for Reagan Youth and also played drums on the Nihilistics' first demo tape.

Lyle Preslar
Guitarist 1984
Born: ???
Lyle played guitar on the first album and also at the first Samhain show ever. After the first Samhain show, Lyle worked with The 400, The Meatmen, and Caroline Records. His first band was called The Extorts.

Damien
Guitarist 1984-1986
Born: 2/6/63
Pete "Damien" Marshall, joined Samhain shortly before "Initium" was released to play guitar on the "Season Of The Dead" tour. He used to play for Humpty Keg, Genocide, The Whorelords, and Mourning Noise. After the last Samhain show in July of 1986, Damien left the band, and played guitar with Brain Eaters, Ditch Witch, Letch Patrol, Man Size Habit, and Iggy Pop. In 1995 he apparently had an audition for G.G. Allin's band, the Murder Junkies.

London May
Drummer 1985-1987/1999, Bassist 1999
Born: 7/20/67
Joined the band in the June, 1985. Previously, he had been the drummer for Reptile House. He remained with the band until February of 1987. He later drummed for Voice Of Doom, Dag Nasty, Lunchbox, Dead White And Blue, Distorted Pony, Sheppard Pratt, and The Amazing Chan Clan. London re-joined Samhain for the 1999 reunion tour, switching off on bass and drums with Steve Zing.

John Christ
Guitarist 1987
Born: 2/19/65
Born in Maryland and attended the Peabody Academy of Music before auditioning for Samhain in February of 1987. Joined the band as part of Rick Rubin's plan for creating a new super group. John's work is only featured on the first side of the "Final Descent" LP. After this recording was made, the band changed its name to Danzig. John got fired around the same time as Eerie Von, and is now recording solo to great reviews.

Todd Youth
Guitarist 1999
Born: ???
Todd joined Danzig (1999) after Jeff Chambers got fired, and was asked to do the Samhain reunion tour, since Damien declined. Todd Youth used to play Warzone, Murphy's Law, D Generation, and Chrome Locust, Todd still plays with Danzig.
