Hello

My name is Debbie and I am from a little town in the north-east of England called Middlesbrough.

The artwork on my pages (excepting the animations on "Sandy's page") are all my own work. I like bright colours, though if you'd met me you'd be surprised to find that out since I always wear only black.

The artwork on "Sandy's page" was collected from free artwork pages, all these pictures can be found on sites linked to on my links page. I created the background here myself.

For those of you who are interested in finding the secret page, and haven't found it yet here is a clue. The link is one of the pictures. If you're still having difficulties, read the html code of the pages (for Netscape users; click the right mouse button on the page and select "view source").

Well, back to the topic of this page. I was interested in art from a very early age, unfortunately, I didn't seem to develop a talent until much later in my late teens, so it was too late for me to go to art college. I like to draw using pencil, fineliner (the only type of pen I've come across that will withstand the punishment from a left-hander for more than a few days!). I like to paint in acrylics. You can get almost any finish using acrylics and it seems to flow much better from the brush than oils. I've painted and drawn various things from cats to aeroplanes. The Vampire Tribbles are a new addition to the collection. I will be adding more of my drawn pictures as soon as I can get access to a scanner.

I have other interests besides painting and creating animated gifs. these include LARP (Live Action Role-Play), reading (mostly sci/fi and fantasy), and motorbikes (learned while very small from my dad). Mostly I like to sit at my computer and create strange pictures and colourful animations.
