The Special Woman

Kings, knights, and men of old
Have searched through time and distance untold
"She has hair of dark, and eyes like dark sapphires,
Lips the color of roses and a look that starts wild fires!
With a figure of womanhood and skin so fare
You must cover your eyes from the vibrant glare."

"Why is she so special?", the knights inquire
Because she has a spell to give, to the man who will desire.
"What is this spell?", as the knights grow afraid...
The marvelous gift of happiness, but only in a trade!
For the man who has the courage to sweep her off her feet
Must rise to to the challenge or walk away in defeat.

"What is this challenge?" as the knights egos begin to expand
The task of equaling her strength will be of great demand
The knights hardy laughter sounds like men in hordes
Her beauty, strength, and wit are sharper than any of your swords!
One by one the knights slowly walk away,
To win the heart of the "Special Woman" is just too far away.

But one knight remains, quite fearful of her spell,
Yet willing to face the challenge for with her he wishes to dwell.
With sword in hand and taking a fighting stance
The sweat drops from his forehead as he gives the king a glance
Then she walks to the knight ever so gently and lightly
Over to the knight standing so tall and mightly
With a kiss and an embrace all the knights armor falls to the floor
And the knight realizes he will need it no more.

As the woman and knight face life ever after,
The king remarks with a hearty laughter...
"You can't win the heart of just any someone,
Unless you're willing to patiently search for your "Special Woman""
