8:00 to 8:40 am
Students may enter the building and swipe in from 8:40 am. You must be in form rooms (or, on assembly mornings, in the hall/sports hall with their bags) by 8:50 am. - swipe machines were, and still are, the most pointless objects ever purchased by the school. They don't work. They're easy to break. Make annoying noises and what's more mark you out when you're in and out when you're out.
Year 11 sub-prefects will be on duty from 8:00am and will not allow students to enter the building before 8:40 am except for:
the Sixth Form and Year 11, who have open access - open access was just a bribery effort to get the students to do the dirty work;
those with early morning sports practices, who will have had their diaries signed in advance by the member of staff taking the practice; - Aaahh early morning sports practices; wearing only shorts and T-Shirt (St. Edward's regulation of course) we would freeze our butts off while certain male PE teachers stand there in full Ski gear and tell us: "it's not cold!!"
those using the library from 8:00 am, who will be allowed in on arrival unless the library is full (or the librarians are 'having a break', or the librarians are 'preparing for the day', or....);
those wishing to use the toilets will leave the building immediately afterwards; girls will use the toilets in the lower school, boys will enter by the main entrance and use the toilets by the science department.
If you come across these year 11 'sub - prefects' then feel free to barge past them. For most of them it's their first experience of power because, despite the fact that they are 16, have never made a decision before in their life because the teachers have always made the decisions for them. If these prefects shout at you while you are barging past them, then a customary middle finger should be brought into action.
Break
All students (except sixth formers and those using the library) will leave the building at break. Those using the toilets should use the ones on the ground floor and should leave the building immediately afterwards. Those wishing to purchase food from the kitchen must queue in the hall and leave the building afterwards. - the classrooms are used at break as they plan to totally corrupt the minds of pupils with their incredible amounts of lies and hypocrisy.
Lunch time
All students will leave the building at 12:45 PM. At 1:05 the duty prefects will allow in:
those with open access
those using the library - see library page in your diary for details;
those with sports practices (on production of signed diary)
others with clubs, societies, detentions, etc. who will only be allowed in if their diary is signed by a member of staff.
Wet breaks and Lunch times
If the weather is bad a double bell will ring and students should return to their forms and sit quietly until the beginning of the next lesson. - The teachers reserve the right to decide what a wet break is. It has been known for torrential rain to come before the double bell rings!!! If your form room is in the portakabins then you will NOT be allowed in. You must stay out in the rain and get absolutely soaked. You will only be allowed in long after hypothermia sets in (Cheers Eddie).
Bounds
The playground and the front of school are available to students at all times. You may also use the tennis courts when they are not in use for practices. - the playground is dangerously uneven. A certain male PE teacher (no names obviously), ordered it like that so that he can watch little children falling over and hurting themselves (his fetish). Feel free to sue the school when any bones are broken due to the playground's sub-standard surface. Please note that the practices stated above are just another excuse for female P.E teachers to tan themselves (no practices are ever properly supervised)
The area around the Portakabins and the garden area beyond may be used at break and lunch time, but no student is allowed beyond the garage wall at the end of the garden. - unless you want a fag in which case this is the area that everyone does it and you never get caught!!!
Normally students should not walk or sit on the grass areas. In the summer term (and possibly the early weeks of the autumn term) when the ground is dry you may be allowed to use these areas, but do not do so until you are told. - eating grass is not allowed as it should be saved for Mr Jones.
Students in Years 10 and 11 who have lunch time passes may leave the site (through the main gate only) at lunch time. They must show their passes to the MDA's on request. - Several people may all share one lunch-time pass as the Dinner Grappers all share one brain cell. MDA stands for "More Dead than Alive"
