WHY CAN'T IT BE EASIER?

In smouldering eyes hidden behind shy half-lids
In dark hair reflecting the light's pale beams
My heart is entangled within your being.
The bonds, as before, are tightly wound
But this time, I feel no need to break free.
Instead, I wish only to be closer. To be lost.
Shy and witted phoenix, it is for you that my heart beats.
Without you, the world shatters in pained fragments.
If only it were easier to tell you so.
