Kane's Second run as the man behind the mask. Jason is back again,
awakened from his watery grave by a misplaced anchor and a serge
of electricity, his first victims are a pair of lovebirds out on a midnight sexcapade.
His reward for a job well done: A boat (I know, I know, what the hell is Jason gonna
do with a fucking boat) apparently he knows how to drive one, and goes out in search
of more victims (even Jason can get a little sick of the same old place all the time).
His search turns up a boatload of students going on a field trip to New York City before
graduation, what fun he will have. Although most of the murders take place on the boat
on the way to New York, and Jason only actually spends about half an hour in New York, they
chose to call this part of the series "Jason Takes Manhattan", some people think this is
not entirely true, and they're right but what else are you gonna call the movie "Jason Takes
A Boatload Of Teenagers On Their Way To Manhattan", I don't think so. The movie is a pleasant
change from the previous movies and shows a lot of that personality that Jason got since Kane took
over, he doesn't kill everyone he sees, and even flashes his gruesome face at a couple of punks,
just to scare the shit out of them.
