I'm a 20 years old girl from Norway (born October the 4th '77 in Drammen). On June the 17th 1998 I'm going to leave my beautiful country and fly across the ocean to work in a magical world in Florida. I'm really looking forward to this allthough it will be hard leaving my family and friends.. (I'll be missing you, don't forget me!! Remember: I'm only an email away..) I hope to make good friends from all over the world, become independent, see new places, learn about new cultures & languages (..therefore, please excuse my english!!) ~ and have a lot of fun doing all this :)) ..kniis!! |
Restaurant Akershus is named and modeled after a 14th century Norwegian castle. The original castle dominates Oslo's harbour and is probably the most impressive all Norway's medieval castles.It is actually half fortress and half palace and many of the grand halls are still in use for elaborate state banquets today. Diners are treated to an authentic royal Norwegian buffet called a koldtbord, translates as "the cold table". The selection on the buffet includes salmon, herring and a selection of Norwegian salads.
