December 8, Masks 103
This week, masks were used to create specialized edges. In the first one, a mask was used to create a special effect background for the nosegay. The nosegay was made with the tutorial for Masks 102, Painting with Masks. That tutorial used masks to colorize black and white clipart. In the next two examples, masks were made using different effects and then used over some photos. The water lily was also a combination of images using techniques from Masks 101.

This week was Masks 101. Taking 2 graphics and creating a mask from one. I also added another mask to the text layer.

This week's session discussed one method to create a mat and frame for a graphic using the add borders function. The picture of the building was used as part of a WET 51 image.
