Heres a Lavendar&Lace designed by Marilyn Leavitt-Imblum
W/ the insides of this angel looking like a computers electrical complex innerds, the ComputerProgrammer in me said I *had* to do it!
So, thought Id give linen another try.
The design is done on 28 count amber linen w/ both cotton & gold floss, metallic thread, & beads.
After finishing it in 1997, I called it quits for working on linen!
There is BackStitch around her hands, face, eye & brow. LongStitch is used to portray the rays in her halo. Her hands hold a ball made of amber beads.
For a break away from the usual rectangular cardboard mat, I tried something new for me : an oval suede one. Striking!
She is now in an appropriate place : my computer room!
