1. The Lord our God, made a covenant agreement,
With His chosen people, Israel
He spoke to them, face to face,
from the mountain's heart of fire
The prophet Moses, stood in the gap interceding,
Between the people and their God
For they were afraid of God's Holy pow'r
Blazing from the fire's heart

Why don't you run to the heart, the heart of the fire?
Its where The Lord's Presence will be found
If your heart is pure, you'll not walk in fear
But will climb His Holy Mountain
Draw near to Him, know His manifest Presence,
Draw near to Him, know the fire of His glory
He's waiting for you, He's calling for you,
From the heart of the fire

He gave to them, the 10 Commandments,
Written by the Hand of God
All who assembled, said that His voice was like thunder
Bright flames shot high up in the sky
People were afraid they'd be consumed by
Blazing showers of His glory
