About condoms....Latex condoms are the only condoms that have had enough testing to prove them effective against STD's like HIV. There are other condoms on the market that are made of plastic and animal membrane but know one is sure how well they protect against disease. For a Latex condom to give you the best protection you must use it properly. Condom boxes usually have directions. If you have alot of problem rolling the condom over the erect penis you should start with a new condom. If you pull and pinch the condom you can weaken it and possibly cause it to break during intercourse. To decrease the chances of the condom breaking use water based lubrication like KY Jelly. Never use baby oil or anything that is oil based with your latex condom. Oil weakens Latex and can lead to breakage. You should reapply your lubrication as often as you need during sex. If you find that the condom starts to fell dry reapply the lubrication right away! Latex condoms are also sensitive to heat. Never store your condoms in your wallet or car as the heat could weaken the latex. Never store your condom in the freezer either. Condoms do best a room temperature. It is best not to use ribbed or studded condoms as they may break easier than regular condoms. Males with larger than average penises can try condoms made for larger size penises like Mentor, Magmums and Trojan Large. If a condom does break wash yourself soap and water right away and contact your doctor for information and advice.
