Pic o' the moment:

Oh. My. God.

::Meri passes out and needs recusitation::

In, out, in, out...
Okay. I'm back. Um.... what was I saying? Is it hot in here? First things first, I don't even know if I'm allowed to have this pic up here. I am risking bodily harm just by posting it. This was sent out by Cindy, who is a wonderful lady who has been able to see the guys in concert tons of times, meet them, and just generally take heart-stopping pics like the one above. So... um... don't take this pic, okay? Please? I might have to take it down myself... ::looks around, scared::.

Second... sorry for another Lance pic... but DAMN! Look at him! I promise, next time, no Lance. But DAMN! Really, he should be fined or something for looking that wonderful, because it's not good for my heart. Whew. Okay, gotta move on, or else I'll gush about him for another page and a half. Wow.

Rants o' the moment:

So I heard that Lance's appearance on "7th Heaven" would not be airing on the WB until January 31st, but that it would be airing on Canada's CTV on the 16th, as originally planned. I'm thinking, woo, I'm a lucky gal... I schedule my evening around the 5pm episode (yes, I am a big stupid *NSYNC dork. Don't even go there). Well.... duh, repeat episode! No Lance! I mean, the episode that aired was interesting and entertaining and all, but... geez! Get my hopes up. Grrr. Oh well, I'll be doing the same thing next Sunday, and the Sunday after that. I'll catch it eventually (and we STILL will get the episode a day before the WB shows it, so that's a small consolation).

Last semester I had a Thursday night class from 7pm to 10pm. What night did the MTV Video Music Awards air in September? Thursday. What night did the WB Radio Music Awards air? Thursday. Both nights I had my VCR set, but by the time I get home, everyone's already finished discussing the appearance, what *NSYNC did or did not win or did or did not perform, how they looked, etc., etc. It's all old hat by the time I finally get to see it for myself.
So this semester I have a Monday night class. What night is the AMAs airing on? Monday. I hate my stupid university. I hate my prof. I hate that class. I hate the AMAs, and I hate TV, and I hate everybody. Grrrrrrrr.

Now, for about two seconds I thought that our local top-40 radio station, Z99, was cool, because the morning that "Bye, Bye, Bye" was released to radio they immediately played it. Then they played it again in the evening during the request hour. They played it once more the following night during the request hour. And that's it. The last time I heard Bye-cubed was January 13th. Oh, we've requested it (Chelle and I, that is, since we believe we just might be the only two *NSYNC fans in this God-forsaken city). They always say, sure we'll play it (that is, if we get through at all). But they don't. We think they hate us. Well, we hate them. We hate them all. For God's sake, Bye-cubed is going to #1 all over Canada and America, and our stupid little piece-of-crap radio station refuses to acknowledge it! I can't stand it! They'll play that horrific "Blue", but not Bye-cubed. I'm about to go postal.

Thought o' the moment:

I was just thinking about how excited I am about this new album and single coming out. I mean, not excited like, "Oh, that's cool, 'N Sync's coming out with a new album" kind of excited. I mean, excited like, "Oh my God! In about two months their album is coming out and it is going to be SOOOOOO GOOD and I canNOT wait to hear it! ::screaming:: And their new video is going to be SSSSSLAMMING! This is their year, baby! This is the year of *NSYNC! Woooo!" kind of excited. It's scaring me, frankly. Chelle and I find that they are slowly infiltrating our brains as well -- I make that "Lance look" facial expression all the time nowadays, and she does her "sarcastic Justin" face far too well.
But the thing is, I'm not only excited for myself. I mean, it's great that I as a fan will be able to enjoy their new material soon. But part of it is that the guys themselves are so excited. I can just imagine them bouncing around in their seats giddily while spouting weird made-up terminology such as "digital space pop"... and it just makes me so happy for them because they are so proud of the work they have done, and that makes me want the album even more.

Joke o' the moment:

To any BSB fans who may be offended by this... avert your gaze, again. ::hehehe::

Genie In a Bottle

Britney Spears, BSB, and N SYNC are out walking along the beach together one day. They come across a bottle and Christina Aguilera pops out of it. "I will give you each one wish, that's three wishes total," says the Christina.

Britney says, "I am posing for the Rolling Stone Cover. I want to look like an international sex symbol on it. With a blink of the Christina's eyes, 'POOF' Britney was given the body of a 23 year old porn star.

BSB was amazed, so they said, "We want a city named after us. Not Orlando cause N SYNC is invading our space there. Then we want a huge wall built around us, so that no one can come into our precious city." Again, with a blink of the Christina's eyes, 'POOF' there was a huge wall around a Backstreet City.

N SYNC says, "We're very curious. Please tell us more about this wall." Christina explains, "Well, it's about 150 feet high, 50 feet thick and nothing can get in or out."

N SYNC says, "Fill it up with water."
