Random Rantings:

At what point does a former employer become a jealous lover? When you are looking for a new job, they act like you are having improper relations with their mothers. When you finally tell them where they can stick this [less than desirable] job, they get all indignant and start playing the same games that a gilted lover would.

It's not like you were working at some secret goverment agency and just told the president of the CIA that you were going to the other side. A [less than desirable] job is just what the name suggests. It's a job that you took just to make ends meet until your dreams came true. Then, your dreams started to come true and you didn't need the job anymore.

What I don't understand is: Why do they want to go and make it personal? I believe that insults and petty bickering is no way to handle the situation. Oh, well. Let them be petty. They can say anything about you they want, they are still working in a [less than desirable] job. Where as you, in your infinite wisdom, decided to take a position that would expidite the ultimate goal you have set for yourself.

Maybe I could be elected President. Then, I could just "negotiate" with them until my own petty sense of revenge were sated.
