Mauri was Bryan's favorite female character in Lunar 2. True, you couldn't play as her... and you didn't even really fight against her, but Bryan has a thing for face stripes. In fact, face stripes are something that both Mauri and Kayana have in common, and that's why Gally was so kind to create this great image of Kayana dressed up as Mauri! In fact, if I do remember correctly, she did a whole bunch of GD2K characters as Lunar ones, too! How cool!
